Your restaurant’s Facebook page is the first impression for every new customer. Before they taste your food, they see your page, and if the page looks neglected, they’ll decide to “come by some other day”. These are the five mistakes we see most often, and the fixes are simpler than you’d think:

1. The last post was three months ago

A visitor who lands on a dead page assumes the restaurant itself might be closed. Consistency beats volume: three posts a week, every week, beats ten posts in one month followed by silence.

2. Careless phone photos

You don’t need a professional photographer. Just pay attention to:

  • Natural daylight is the best light for food
  • Wipe the table before you shoot 😄
  • Use the same angle for every dish so the page has a recognizable look

3. Messages go unanswered

A large share of restaurant inquiries arrive on Messenger. If you reply hours later, the customer has already booked somewhere else. Set fixed reply times and stick to them, or leave it to us.

4. No clear price list

“Prices in DM” wastes your time and theirs. Pin an album or a post with your current menu, and keep private messages for questions that really need details.

5. Posting without a plan

A post about hot sauce today, an offer tomorrow, then a month of silence. Every successful page has a simple monthly plan behind it: what goes out, when, and why.
